Christina Simon-Philipp

Prof. Dr.-Ing., architect and urban planner, is professor of urban planning and urban design at the Stuttgart University of Applied Sciences – Faculty of Architecture and Design. Christina Simon-Philipp researches urban planning, urban development, public space, housing, and planning and building culture. Her work focuses on projects at the intersection of research, practice and teaching using a broad portfolio of methods. She is active as a specialist adjudicator and design advisor, as well as in urban planning, consulting and monitoring urban development processes. In 2020 she was jury chair of the German Urban Design Award, since 2021 she is curator of the award.
